Case Nr. 4
The Soul Gatherer
Welcome
Dear Players,
Welcome to the online escape game ‘The Soul Gatherer’. This escape game can only be played digitally.
We recommend you use a computer instead of a mobile device to give you the best possible experience with the elements of play (pictures, etc.). Of course, this does not mean that you cannot use mobile devices in addition. When in play, it is advisable not to close the tabs immediately if you think you are finished on one page. You just might need to go back …
To play this game successfully, you are advised to have the following tools readily available:
- At least one active email account, preferably several
- Pen and paper for taking notes
We recommend between two and four players for this game. However, anything from one player to six players is possible.
So what is your task? Initially, read everything and take a close look and you will soon figure out your mission. You are not limited to the documents you encounter on the next page. We urge you to leave no potential clue unturned and to click on any link you find on the go. However, some things will not be easy to find or maybe even encrypted through puzzles. If you would like to play with multiple persons, you can share your access code with up to six people and simply chat via Skype/Discord or similar services throughout the experience.
If you feel that you are not making any progress, there is a detailed help system which you can access on the next page, and only from there. Anything else you might find is part of the game and will not count against you as an assistance.
Have fun and we wish you loads of success!
!Important! You must allow pop-ups during this game. Usually, a notification from within your browser appears which prevents you from opening a pop-up window. You can modify the setting right there in order to progress. If you are able to change the settings before the start of the game, please check here for further instructions:
